Hello, I’m Taylor!

I am a recent graduate of Stanford University with a B.S. degree in Engineering—Product Design and a minor in Art History. My love for creation started at a very young age with my grandmother teaching me how to cook, sew, and knit. Since then, I’ve channeled my creative abilities through my academic career, as well as, my involvement in Stanford’s fashion magazine and on-campus theater productions.

In addition to my love for creating, I’m also very passionate about giving back to my community and advocating for underserved youth. During my time as a youth leader in Baltimore City, I advocated and canvassed for the Children and Youth Investment Act, which served as the preliminary piece of legislation starting the Baltimore Children and Youth Fund in 2018. In the years following, I continued to support my peers at The Intersection, a youth-led civic engagement non-profit, through the Community Service Work-Study program at Stanford University's Haas Center for Public Service. I also had the opportunity to educate and mentor cohorts of young people in the basics of empathy-driven design through my role as a Coach at Dent Education, a non-profit which educates high-school students in design thinking. During the academic year, I also served as a Student Maker Coach with the organization’s student-led protective personal equipment (PPE) business, Made@Dent.

From helping pass key legislation to utilizing the design thinking process, my experiences taught me that I have the power to bring anything in my mind into my reality. As I progress further into my career, I hope I can further merge my passions for art, design, and advocacy through my own bold entrepreneurial ventures.
